Banana muffins are by far my favourite edible recipe. They're delicious every time, you can't even taste the cannabis (pro or con, you decide!) and very easy to make!

You will need:
- 3 large bananas
- ¾ cup of sugar
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup of butter
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- ½ tsp of salt
- 1 ½ cup of all purpose flour
- Muffin Tray
- Paper Liners
This recipe is easy enough to do without a mixer. It’s quick to prepare and you won’t want to rip your arms off stirring the batter.
Step One: Preheat and prepare
Set your oven to 375ºF and line your muffin tray(s) with paper liners. If you’re feeling fancy spring for some decorative ones!
Step Two: Hulk Smash!
Using a potato masher or a fork smash up your bananas like they owe you money. Turn them into a liquidy pulpy substance.
Step Three: Add stuff!
Add in your sugar and egg and mix until well combined
Step Four: Get that budder!
⅓ cup of butter is approximately 5 tbsp. I usually take 2 cubes of budder and then add in a dollop of regular butter because I don’t feel like cutting a cube in half. If you don’t have budder yet check out my step by step guide to make cannabis infused butter!
Take your budder out of the freezer if you haven’t already and pop two of the cubes in the microwave for 30 second increments until it’s melted. Let it cool for a few minutes and then add it to your mixture and combine.
Step Five: Dry ingredients!
Add in your baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. I like to add in the flour a half a cup at a time and mix to make it easier. Stir until well combined.
Optional: You can stop here and have delicious banana muffins or you can add in a cup of any of the optional ingredients. Chocolate chips are a staple favourite but you can mix it up with different chocolate chip flavours, nuts or fruit too! My favourite combination so far is a half cup of chocolate chips and a half cup of peanut butter chips - there is no better combination than banana-chocolate-peanut-butter!
Step Six: Bake to get baked!
Using a pair of spoons divide your batter up into the muffin cups and then bake for 18-20 minutes. While you’re waiting, I recommend taking the time to clean up your kitchen - then when the muffins are done you’ll be ready to relax and test them out!
Optional: If you prefer loaves you can use this same recipe for that! Just adjust the oven temperature to 350ºF grease your loaf pan and then pour the batter and bake for one hour.
Test the doneness of your treats with a toothpick. When it comes out clean you’re done! Take them out of the oven and very carefully transfer them to a cooling rack or a clean kitchen towel to cool so you can eat them!
Ta-da! You now have cannabis infused banana muffins!
